1878 to 1904 and 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar his and hers coin rings. Sweetheart set, Wedding set, His and Hers set. 2 rings made from one Morgan 90% silver dollar. Choose polished (shinny) or patina (tarnished). Along with date facing out (Lady liberty side) or date facing the inside of the ring (Eagle side out). I personally think the Eagle side out (date inside) is the best for this set. The Bald Eagles head ends up on the smaller (hers) ring. This is for a random year 1878 to 1904. You may contact me if you want to try to get a certain year. Please see the "Instructions for buyers" section to let me know "Her" smaller thinner ring size and look. Etsy limits choices and will not let me have a 2nd ring size choice.
The coin is named after its designer, United States Mint Assistant Engraver George T. Morgan. The obverse depicts a profile portrait representing Liberty, while the reverse depicts an eagle with wings outstretched. Morgan dollar mintage stopped in 1904, Morgan dollars resumed mintage for one year in 1921. The design was replaced by the Peace dollar later the same year in 1921 (Please see my other listing if you would like one of these). For the representation of Liberty, Morgan sought to depict an American woman rather than the usual Greek–style figures. Morgan's friend, artist Thomas Eakins, suggested he use Anna Willess Williams of Philadelphia as a model. In total, Morgan had five sittings with Williams; he declared her profile to be the most perfect he had seen. The mint marks appearing on the coins are none, representing Philadelphia, "CC" for Carson City, "S" for San Francisco, and "O" for New Orleans. In order to conform to the Coinage Act of 1837, the Morgan dollar contained ninety percent silver and ten percent copper, measured 38.1 millimeters (1.50 in) in diameter and weighed 412.5 grains (26.73 g).

*** Add engraving to this ring for $10. I can do one name, something very short like "♥ u Curt", or one date. Also let me know where to engrave. Inside of the ring or outside of the ring. If you do not, the engraving will be on the inside. This will be very small because of ring size.

If you change a quarter into a half dollar you are breaking the law.

These are very nice rings and how neat to have 2 rings made from one coin. Curt did a great job and love the craftsmanship on these. We did send back to him to have the his ring resized, but it was very easy to send back and he resized very quickly and shipping was very quick. Thank you Curt!!

I love the product! I ordered the set for my husband and me and it was the perfect product. Without asking, I was provided with a SF mint Morgan Dollar coin that made my husband's day! Only recommendation would be to order with more anticipation than needed. Mine was supposed to ship on the 19th but was not officially sent out until later and did arrive late for the celebration. Still love the product! Thank you!
